With the sporeprint of the Psilocibine subaeruginosa it becomes very easy to home grow these potent and exotic mushroom species.

The spores do well on rotten wood, especially of pine and eucalyptus trees .

The mushroom was first described in 1927 and has a chocolat brown cap and a hollow white stem which has dark blue spots on it caused by the active substance. Its potency is reported to be medium to high.
