Ban on shrooms not lifted

Last week Lea Bouwmeester, MP of the Dutch Labour Party (PvdA) said she would like to see a reversal of the ban on magic mushrooms, which went into effect in December 2008. She claims the ban is ineffective and does not tackle the actual problems, like polydrug use of tourists. Recently, other Dutch political parties Groenlinks (GreenLeft) and D66 (Democrats 66) announced they are also against the ban and in favor of regulating its sales. 

October 14th the Dutch government had a meeting reappraising the ban, but unfortunately it was decided that the ban will not be reversed. During the debate questions were asked about mushroom grow kits and the Philosopher's stones (also known as truffles or sclerotia), and in answer to these questions it was said that because in the past year there have been very few incidents involving these products, they will not be banned.

Five different Colour Mixes: two Outdoor, three Indoor.

For those who want to try out different Dutch Passion Cannabis Varieties at one time, they have put together five different Colour Mixes. All Mixes contain six seeds, two seeds of three different varieties. The varieties can be distinguished by the fact that we gave the seeds different colours. The fifteen varieties selected for the five mixes are 15 bestsellers.

Dutch Passion composed two Outdoor Colour Mixes and three Indoor Colour Mixes:

• The two Outdoor Colour Mixes are adapted to outdoor circumstances at northern and southern latitudes.
• The three Indoor Colour Mixes are suited for growing indoor and for growing outdoor at southern latitudes.

In indoor circumstances different seed varieties may need different treatment. We have chosen variety combinations per Indoor Mix according to their ability to grow together in the same grow room (grow-conditions) and at the same time assure diversity in the Indoor Colour Mixes.

The pigments used to colour the seeds have been tested for many years. No side effects on germination or plant growth have been found. Added to the pigments is a fungicide that prevents stem rot of the seedlings.
